Weber Shandwick Leeds has now officially launched in the city, and to mark the event, the agency held a drinks reception at The Chambers on York Place attended by Weber Shandwick CEO, Colin Byrne, who gave guests a brief overview of the capabilities and level of service that a major global agency could deliver to the region’s businesses, as well as the firm’s ambitions for its newest office.
Byrne said: “Leeds is a successful, vibrant commercial centre and we feel that the time is right to launch the Weber Shandwick offering – one that understands the strategic requirements of the region’s businesses but also matches them for excellence and ambition.
"In Leeds, we’ve recruited in some of the best talent in the business to give the agency the best possible start. Despite the global economic downturn, the region’s economy is still strong and I firmly believe that the office has huge potential for growth, and could quickly beat its own ambitious growth targets.”
